GENERAL INFORMATION:
The Flea Markets at Edison High School are sponsored by Edison Field Hockey. The Flea Market will run from 7:00am-2:00pm in the front of the school. Fall dates are 09/12/26, 09/26/26, 10/17/26, 11/07/26, and 11/14/26.
We do not take reservations, spaces first come, first serve. We have enough space for all! Bus lanes, parking spaces and grass areas between parking lots and in front of the auditorium are $20. Please do not set up to the left of entrance 17, we do not have the permit for under the awning from there over to entrance 1. Setup begins at 5:30am. Sale begins at 7am and we block the parking lot between bus lanes and the grass area at 7:00am. If you need to set up after that time; there are plenty of other spaces.
Cash fee will be collected beginning at 9:00am, please be ready, we cannot accept partial payment or come back at another time. Bathrooms are located inside Entrance 1. We do not provide tables, chairs or canopies. Please make sure plastic bags and other items are secure. Do not leave items or trash at vendor space or by bus stop on Franconia Road.
Project B Green will pick up unwanted items after the sale. There will be a sign at the flower box under the awning where to leave the items. All items must be bagged or boxed. Do not overload the boxes and allow for one person to pick up. Once a vendor puts items there; please do not take any items from the donation pile.
Parking for vendors is on both sides of the building, please save front spaces for your customers. No parking in fire lanes (any yellow curb) vendors and customers. Vendors need to be unloaded and have vehicles inside parking lots at the start of the event.
Vendor agrees to abide by all FCPS regulations, to include items prohibited to be on school property (i.e. knives, weapons, etc.) by FCPS to be sold. No pets or smoking allowed on school grounds. No food or drink items to be sold by vendors.
Please note FCPS does not allow people on property during dark hours unless staff is onsite. Please do not save spaces with unmanned vehicles. If the flea market is canceled, you may not set up on your own. If you set up when the sale is canceled, it will be considered trespassing. As far as inclement weather goes, we will try and hold flea markets when there is light rain. Obviously, vendors can make their own decision as to what is best for them. If it's just rain, we will be a go and hope customers come out in the light rain. If thunderstorms are expected or are happening at 4:30am we will delay the final decision to 7:00am. We have to follow the school protocols on thunder and lightning and might have to cancel. Call Flea Hotline at 703-924-8124 for information and cancellations. Failure to follow rules set forth by the school or fundraiser organization may result in asking not to participate in future flea markets. Serious violations may result in a trespass letter issued by FCPS School security. Which would ban you from any future flea market events.
